IR Receiver Diode – TSOP38238 means IR is undetectable to the human eye which is perfect for wireless communication to transmit information (like volume or channel control) to an IR photo sensor on your TV. The TSOP382 is compatible with all common IR remote control data formats.
IR Receivers are used for remote control and infrared communication applications, in infrared code learning/repeater, infrared light barriers, and infrared proximity sensors. Infrared receivers operate in the wavelength range of 840 nm and 960 nm.
